First of all, you have to excuse me because of my poor English. I'm happy for finding you and I'm very sure that we have something in common. My name is Omar Esteban Silva and I'm 26 years old. My father's name Argentino F. Silva and my mother is Mabel Carmen Mosiuk (she was born on April 21st 1941) We live at Bahia Blanca, Buenos Aires, Argentina. I've surfed the net on many occasions with the same goal, and I've failed too; but yesterday I founded your page (also founded some not clear Mosiuk's references at Canada and at Colonia Catriel, Rio Negro, Argentina; this last a bit more clear -and I'll try to establish a contact-). My grandfather on my mother's side was called Basilio (Wasyl) Mosiuk, like your father. Also, he was born in the Ukraine (I think in 1908) and he died four years ago. I'm expecting my mother comes back from a journey. Then I'll tell her about this and ask her to look for my grandfather's documentation. I remember he came from Galizzia (Ukraine)(I don't remember exactly the village and the city of birth), deserting the army too (I suppose about 1930). His father sold a portion of land so my grandfather could go away. He went to Trieste, in Italy where he shipped to Brazil and then came to Argentine. In this country he met Manuela Rodriguez, who came from Spain, my grandmother. She died more than 10 years ago. I know he came to Argentine (or Brazil) with a brother of his, who later went to the USA. I know he had other brothers and sisters.
